Masashi Shimanuki graduated from the University of Tokyo with a Master’s degree in applied chemistry in 1999, and joined Mobil Sekiyu (now ENEOS). Over 20 years’ experience for business development, sales & marketing, customer service, operations, secretary office, supply & trading, and manufacturing at a refinery including an overseas assignment in Singapore. He was taking a lead of start-up investments at Corporate Venture Function from 2019 to 2022. Subsequently, he served as the Deputy General Manager overseeing Hydrogen Business at the Tokyo headquarters office. In April 2023, he has transferred to Sydney office to accelerate Hydrogen projects in Australia.
