Derek is the Team Lead for Gexcon Australia. He is a professional mechanical engineer and has been working in Process Safety Risk Management for over 20 years. Derek has worked in greenfields Process Safety for companies such as Worley and has managed brownfields Process Safety for companies such as ConocoPhillips and Santos.

Derek currently leads a team of engineers in the Australian office of Gexcon. At Gexcon Derek assists companies manage their Process Safety risks in a range of different project types, but primarily hydrogen and new energy.
