Michael Zettinig is the Deputy Executive Director of the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the official representation of German business in Australia. He is also the Co-Chair of the German-Australian Hydrogen Subworking Group, part of the German-Australian Energy Working Group established as part of the bilateral Energy Partnership. He is also the Co-Founder of the German-Australian Hydrogen Alliance, an initiative to connect hydrogen industry partners from both countries. He is in regular exchange with both governments and he is part of the consortium delivering the German-Australian Energy Partnership on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The German-Australian Chamber as not-for-profit organisation is connected to most bilateral hydrogen industry and other stakeholders through our initiatives, including the dedicated Energy Cluster. Prior to joining the German-Australian Chamber in 2014 Michael has worked for the Australian Government and in Government Advisory at KPMG and for industry and Government in Germany. He has a Masters Degree and PhD in Political Science from Free University Berlin and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
