Gary holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and an MBA.

He has spent 27 years working in the resources and chemical industries with experience in secondary iron ore processing, alumina refining, as well as with ammonia, nitric acid, and ammonium nitrate production. He has held a variety of roles from Process Engineer through to Technical Manager.

His current role as Sustainability Manager – Continuous Manufacturing focuses on the decarbonisation of the four large continuous manufacturing sites that Orica operates in Australia and overseas.
