Julien Bocobza is a project finance lawyer. He focuses on the development, financing, acquisition and disposal of infrastructure and energy projects.
He has broad experience of working across the power, water, infrastructure, oil and gas, petrochemicals, renewables and nuclear sectors.
Julien has completed a full time secondment to JBIC’s power department, where he worked on renewable energy and hydrogen projects. Julien is ranked in Chambers Asia-Pacific for Projects & Energy and is appreciated by clients for his “depth of experience and state-of-the-art advice”.
Julien’s hydrogen related experience includes advising a Japanese on a hydrogen project in France, a Japanese sponsor with respect to potential hydrogen projects in Australia and a US technology provider and sponsor with respect to the development of hydrogen projects in the UK. He also advised a Japanese lender on regulatory issues for hydrogen projects in the UK.
