Kristian Dawson is the acting Executive Director of the Infrastructure, Planning and Economic Development division at the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation. In this role Kristian leads a team responsible for several Government priority initiatives including the Renewable Hydrogen Unit, Future Battery Industry Strategy team, the Premier’s LNG Jobs Taskforce, land use planning and allocation of Strategic Industrial Areas and administration of the State’s implementation of the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF). Kristian holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and has experience working in the public sector across a range of different agencies.
