Mark is the Chief Executive Officer of Low Emission Technology Australia. LETA is supported by a $700 million dollar industry commitment to identify and invest in technologies that will be critical to removing emissions from hard-to-abate sectors like steel, cement, and power.

These investments will make a real difference in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from industries in Australia and overseas, supporting the transition to a low emission global economy, as well as creating new jobs and new opportunities for Australian industry.

Prior to joining LETA, Mark held a senior leadership role in a public relations and communications agency with clients in the resources and energy sectors. Previous roles also include Australian Head of Government Relations with Shell and the Deputy CEO of Australia’s peak oil and gas industry association. Mark has also held roles as a senior manager in resource industry representative bodies and as an advisor to the Federal Government.

Mark has a Masters of Environmental Law (ANU), Bachelor of Science (ANU), and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
