Masao Imazato is Assistant General Manager, New Energy Business Development Dept. of Marubeni Corporation, Japanese investment and trading company across various industries, power, energy, infrastructure, chemical, metal, foods etc.

Masao is currently in charge of development of new energy related business including hydrogen and ammonia, and he has over 20 years’ experience in Marubeni Corporation and its subsidiaries, with managerial responsibilities in overseas power projects including retail power, generation and utilities, accounting and tax activity, development of new business, leading M&A transactions, and managing asset portfolios.

He received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kyoto University in Japan and took Advance Management Program at IMD Business School.
