Max is an energy systems analyst, R&D team leader and (in a former life) ship designer. He has held leadership roles at KBR, AEMO, Austal Ships and Frazer-Nash Consultancy. Max has been leading the KBR team supporting Arafura Rare Earths in the development of their decarbonisation strategy since May 2022.
Max’s passion is the energy transition. He is the Director and Co-Founder of Causal Dynamics, a startup which combines data analytics and engineering analysis to model and improve the performance of future energy systems. He is also the Co-founder of the Net Zero Network, a not for profit which helps members identify how they can have the greatest impact in reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.
