Ryan is a senior executive in the energy industry with extensive operating experience across a broad set of industries including energy, aviation, retail, manufacturing and business services.
Ryan joined Origin in 2009 and was appointed General Manager of Future Fuels and Carbon in early 2022.
In his current role he is focused on the energy transition and emission reductions achieved in areas of renewable fuel development for domestic and export markets, and the development of carbon solutions.
Throughout his career Ryan has invested in building capability to transform businesses for the future through innovation, digitisation and the adoption of emerging technologies.
His leadership style centres on fostering teams that are empowered, driven and perform at their best. He is passionate about supporting the advancement of diversity and inclusion, actively sponsoring initiatives on reconciliation, mental health and
wellbeing.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
