Stefan Håkansson is the new Chief Clean Energy Officer (CCEO) of GFG Alliance. He is a highly experienced senior executive who previously worked for the European energy group E.ON.

For the past five years, Stefan was the CEO of E.ON Business Solutions and Global Director for Energy Infrastructure Solutions, which provides energy services to two million customers in 15 countries. Prior to this, he worked as the Managing Director of E.ON Thermal Sweden and Karlshamn Kraft AB, which were E.ON-owned Nordic power generation businesses.

Stefan’s role at GFG Alliance is to drive its CN30 ambition and renewable energy development. He will also focus on energy efficiency as one of the main levers for CN30. The company invests in solar, wind, and green hydrogen installations to decarbonise its iron and steel operations.
