Yi-Sheng (Eason) Chen

Dr Chen is an Australian Research Council Early Career Industry Fellow and a University of Sydney Fellow at the Australian Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis of USyd. His research group specialises in using advanced materials characterisation tools, particularly cryogenic microscopy and atom probe tomography, to study hydrogen distribution and effect in materials and to support R&D in industry. He is the director of a 2 million US dollar research program. He completed his PhD (2018) at the University of Oxford after his MS (2009) and BS (2007) at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.
